So here’s the new ep. called ” We All Have Something“. I set out 3 weeks ago to make a little mini record that featured a lot of my favorite instrument, the acoustic guitar, which I play in a recreational and eunctional manner. I also wanted to avoid using the drum set which is my main thing, just to try and keep myself from falling back on ideas that are familiar and readily available to me.
This music was a lot of fun to make, and if you want a download of this stuff, email me and I’ll hook it up. There’s no charge for it, I just want people to have a listen and a think maybe. If you really really feel like you do want to show some monetary love, you can always visit the web store here, I’ve got another ep an full length up there for sale at reasonable prices.
A few people to thank on this one too. Dean Drouillard and Joel Schwartz both contributed their respective talents and ideas to this stuff, and it was invaluable and came at the perfect time. My roommates Sean Keith and Julie Lottering ( both amazing artists and friends) who were very patient with me as IÂ made out of context random noises for hours on end, and subjected them to listening to half baked versions of these tunes. Huge moral support and ears came from David Myles and Amy Laing, both of whom are ridiculously talented and hard working people who I respect very much.
Anyway, here it is, enjoy it, and I’m going swimming now.
