good people
There’s lots of good people around me doing lots of good things artistically and other wise. Here’s 2 of them -
Josh Cockerill is a great up and coming singer song writer. Actually, I hate that term. Josh is a really good singer song writer who doesn’t have an album or distribution yet. He writes really great songs that make him sound much older and taller then he is. And he’s a really nice guy with a large belt buckle. Here’s a tune.
And on the admin side of things, here’s my good friend Liz Parker. She’s a a beautiful, charismatic, quick witted woman who just launched a her new business website, www.LIZPR.com . It’s a really cool business model that incorporates a pr agent, stylist, interview advisor, and good hang all into one. Check it out.

No sound capabilities to record this ridiculously and almost sickeningly cute scene, but it sounds like a cross between a wheezing old man and a ballon getting air sllllllllowly let out of it. Bean and mike are the best.
No commentsI’ll come back soon
It seems I’m posting more apologies here then sounds the past month, so I won’t apologize again now. Just know that I think of you every day and can’t wait to see you again and show all the things I’ve been hearing. I’m moving into a good place in the right direction and I look forward to audibly proving it starting next Monday, so communication here this week may be patchy.
Until then, if you really miss hearing things I do, come out on Thursday October 30th to the Orbit Room at 7:30 sharp. I’m playing with 3 of my best friends and favorite people to make music with in a band called the Outlanders. We’re releasing our debut cd and it’s going to be “lightly catered” fun. Here’s a quick tune, the title track called “…and this is how his story goes.”
See you soon…..
No commentsfor your desk
Here’s some completely non obtrusive music to listen to if you have some tea and 2:35 to yourself, and you want to relax. It worked for me this morning. I’m at a desk, and I feel relaxed. There you go.
Second best venue / best concert ever.
Just back from Calgary and had a great trip, partly because we played great music in some great places, but also because I went to see neil young last night and he ROCKEDMYFACEOFF. He’s for one of the most important and vital living figures in music history, and he has arguably never sounded better. If you can go, please please go.

10 minutes before my plane landed in sunny Calgarythis morning, repeated clips of a plane crashing during landing procedures were played on every little tv on every little seat. Wow. Really encouraging west jet, thanks.
No sounds til Monday, but I will take advantage of whatever wifi I can steal and pirate, and I’ll be extra snarky to make up for it.
